This is how my Prius looked with the hubcaps before it was stolen...

It took me about 2 hours to make one of these.

What was needed to make this happen :

Tools from HomeDepot...


A set of after-market hubcaps I purchased at
Dave's HubsCaps in San Mateo for $25 each...


A nut-case, who has nothing better to do...

The "Creative" Process :

First, I cut off the rim from the original cap.


I marked and cut it to fit the Prius's rim.


The most boring part : filing...


I drilled little holes for the wires.


Threaded the wires through the holes...


...to the metal support ring on the original cap.


After filling the holes in the middle and cleaning,
I put on the radiation sign I bought at Kragens ( $8 )


It took me about 4 hours to make this two.
